Avoid Pigeons Entering Your Attic
If you want to avoid or stop pigeons entering your attic, then first you need to find what point in the attic they are using to come in. The hole does not have to be that big because pigeons can fit through very tiny spaces. Search the roof and the side of your home where the wall meets the roof as those are very common spots for damage on the infrastructure. Also pay close attention to tree branches because they may be covering the entry point from eye sight. A quick inspection of the outside of your home should tell you the entry point fast.
Once you have found how the birds are getting in, it is just a matter of sealing the hole. You can use tin foil as a temporary seal, but make sure that you cover the hole properly as soon as possible. If you already have pigeons inside it may be wise to leave the entranceway open until they get out. Eventually they will need food and that is the perfect time to seal it. You have to pay a lot of attention to the moment the pigeons get out, because they may want to come back in once they have eaten outside.
